Bangor football beats MessalonskeeBANGOR -- Joe Seccareccia returned a punt 52-yards for a touchdown nad threw a 67-yard pass to John Kelley in the third quarter as the Bangor High School football team beat Messalonskee 25-13 in a Pine Tree Conference Class A semifinal game on Friday. Lonnie Hackett added a 20-yard TD run in the first quarter and a 4-yard TD run in the fourth quarter for No. 1 Bangor, which improves to 9-0 and advances to play No. 3 Brunswick in the conference championship game next week. Sam Dexter caught a 75-yard pass from Dylan Foster in the third quarter to bring Messalonskee within a point, 7-6. He also caught a 36-yard TD pass from Foster in the fourth quarter.
