Mace, McClintock win cross country titles

CUMBERLAND -- Maranacook's Abby Mace and Madison's Matt McClintock each won individual state cross country championsships Saturday at Twin Brook Recreation Area.

Mace won the Class B girls title, finishing more than a minute ahead of her closest competitor. McClintock won the Class C boys race by nine seconds.

The Mt. Blue girls finished third in Class A and qualified for next weekend's New England championships.
